Does anyone have a picture of the cockpit where the controls can be transalted? What is all on the steering wheel?

Here is a list of the small items I am wondering about:
Did I miss cruise somewhere?
Intermittent wipers?
Clock?
Thermometer?
Where are the 3 cup holders?
steering column adjustable?
automatic headlights?
are the headlights Xenon by some miacle?

Check the gallery, Solstice Interior pictures.

Cruise control comes with the Convenience Pkg.

Intermittent wipers are standard.

Clock on radio.

Thermometer may be included in Driver Information Center which is part of the Convenience Pkg.

Cup Holders - two are on the "waterfall" between the seats (look for the long horizontal rectangle - it pops out to be cup holders) other one is near passengers left knee (another pop out kind)

Adjustible steering standard.

Daytime running lights with Automatic lamp control - activates lamps when necessary.

Headlights are Halogen.

There is a tri-fold info sheet linked below that has this info listed.

So you don't get confused, the steering wheel can be adjusted up and down. We however do not believe it to be telescoping.

It's a GM vehicle, so...

All the following will be a part of the turn signal multifunction switch.
Cruise, Wipers, Hi/Lo beams, Windshield washer.

Thermometer display will be either in the Radio or the Rearview mirror.

You never have to touch a switch to turn the headlites on or off. There will be a sensor on the dash.

But probably like the new small GM's the wipers and lights will be on the right instead of the left :brentil: I HATE HATE HATE the split controls like on a Vibe where you turn on the wipers every time you adjust the radio. What's wrong with good old american all in one on the left?

Go to http://www.seriouswheels.com/top-2006-Pontiac-Solstice-Roadster.htm

Note the (little Black) sensor on top of the dash above the cluster. That senses light for your automatic Headlights. My S10 has the same thing.

Hope this helps

You should be able to easily replace the stock halogen bulbs with Xenon plasma as long as they are usuall GM types. I wonder if the Sol has seperate bright/dim bulbs or all-in-one.

My Camaro has a HID kit off of ebay that I paid $350 for and they work awesome. Just go to ebay type in "9006 HID" and list them by price. The $600-280 range are going to be HID kits. The $50 HID bulbs are just cheap blue bulbs that jack up the wattage and burn out quicker.
