Yes. First question. Are you tuned? If not, do you have a GXP? Whether your tuned or not there is a split second that the computer switches (or so I’ve been told) to limp mode to take a quick snapshot of what is going on in the engine so it can analyze the parameters. I know there was a discussion on this about 8 months ago on here, but couldn’t tell you the title of the tread.

well, my 06 seems to have it's good days and it's not as good days. weird. usually in the morning it's crisp throttle response and then sometimes in the afternoon the car seems a bit sluggish. the GXP seems to do it too but usually only when I'm really hammering on it and at the next light be just fine. Not sure if it's fuel or temp, humidity or what. I don;t however feel a complete loss of power though.

If you have a GXP power loss could be as a result of temperature or also running the a/c. I purchased my GXP last October and the temperatures were more mild so the car seemed to perform better. It has been 100+ here for awhile and I have noticed power loss due to the hot air and it seems to amplify this when the a/c is on.

sgt82,

Do you experience this each time you drive? If you would like your GM dealership to look into this concern, please let us know via private message.
