So i'm replacing engine. Looks like you can just unbolt the PS pump and AC compressor and just pull the engine up.

Really looks that simple, anyone ever done this before? I'd rather not drain the ps fluid and AC system if I dont have to. Looks like all the lines are routed outside the footprint of the engine so there wouldnt be an issue from them either.

Haven't replaced an engine in a Sol, but it's the way I've done it in all the ones I've done. Be sure to tie them up out of the way or then end up somewhere you do NOT want them to be when you're lowering the replacement into position.

I have done it a couple of times. Just unbolt the compressor and push it out of the way. I had to unbolt the hard line to condenser by the radiator at driver's side, but fortunately never had plenty of room. I just removed the hose to PS and capped it off with a baggie.
