I've done some searching, but all I've really found are the A-piller pods. Has anyone ever done auxiliary gauges similar to the SD-290 concept? It would probably take some doing...

Remember some of the V8 converted cars running Auto Meter gauges, but don't t remember seeing if the auxiliary gauges (water, oil, fuels, volts) were incorporated into the boomerang like the SD-290. It does look super .

I agree it does look cool, it would be awesome if someone came up with a modified boomerang, but I guess you can have that when you don't need heat or a radio. :thumbs:

I've seen the vents replaced with gauges...and seen the AC control knobs replaced but I'm a wimp and need all my ventilation....:willy:. I guess the double din radio could be swapped for a single and give more workable space, but it would take a complete redesign to get the SD-290 look......which does look fantastic!

Here are my bf's gauges. His AC controls were moved to the glove box after we modified it. Not a fun or easy job but worth the effort IMO

Seriously, that's a brilliant mod. Only change I'd go w/are Auto Meter classic series.
