I bought these a few days ago and really like them and the way they work. They are L.E.D. and blink from inside to the outside sequentially just like many of the newer cars on the road today like the Carmaro and new Mustangs.

Just make sure when installed the capacitor is facing the inside towards the trunk or they will blink in the wrong direction. They are not marked left or right and this is the only way they function properly.

I bought them on ebay and there is a video showing them working for everyone to see. Well worth the money and better than the stock bulbs. Ads better style and safety.

Super easy, just 2 screws on the inside of the trunk on each side. Once you remove them, just pull straight up and they pop out. Turn the bulbs counterclockwise and they release.

I like the ones in the OP's video. I think I'll grabe me some. don't care for the ones in the other video though. the fronts could use some help as well. I was pulling into a street that a cop was directing traffic for and I sat waiting for a while and he motioned me to keep strait and when I told him I was turning, he said he couldn't tell cause of my lights.
Cool Stuff.

What RD says is true . . but if you go back and read some of the early threads you will learn that some have been difficult to release from the body. The fastners are easy to remove but some tails, if they have never been removed can resist coming out. Fear not, they do come out.

Are you able to post a video with them in your car? I'd be interested to see more of how they look.

Thanks, I did see the video, just was interested in something a bit longer and maybe with the hazards just to show more of the effect. Would you say they appear brighter than stock?

Definitely brighter than stock, they are L.E.D.s

I'm trying to purchase on ebay but not getting into a bidding war with anyone. If I loose this one will keep trying until activity slows.

Riggs you probably were my competition Sorry I ran it up a couple dollars before I backed off. I will keep trying and hope to get it at a reduced price. I'll have to look and see what movement there is on HHR and Cobalt site. Got a few months before we come out of hibernation.
