i can get a service manual from my local GM dealer for 65 bucks.is this a good deal as apparently they are not available anywhere else?being a new owner i will probably keep this car for several years.

Service manual or owners manual? The service manual is a 3 volume book set. I think I spent about $180.00 for them from Crate.

i will have to make sure then.got the original owners manual and window sticker when i bought the car.$6000.00 worth of options.i remember when new vettes didnt cost 6000.00.

The service manuals are still available from the publisher and from authorized dealers like crate engine depot.

I've never bought the books at a dealer. I've tried but they just tell me to call Helm, the publisher.
