I'm going to Skaneateles, for Labor Day. They have a local Classic Car show to benefit the local fire department- it's a small affair, less than 50 cars. A friend of mine got a GXP about a month ago so we thought we;d show the cars and maybe go on a little cruise afterwards- around Skaneateles Lake or find a route a little more ambitious including 13 curves.

It'd be cool to meet some other owners in the area. Nothing's set in stone, so I'm open to suggestions, especially if anyone knows any good routes.

As far as the car show goes, they have to admission types: judged and show, being that it is coined a "Classic" car show, I assume they wouldn't want 2006-2010 cars signing up to be judged, but I can inquire if anyone is interested.

As things stand right now, we will plan on attending the car show until noon then off to Skan-Eles on Rt. 20 for lunch. At 1:00 we'll leave Sakn-Eles, head into town and drive down West Lake Road then into Scott and Spafford for some nice 20 mph bends, along 174, by Otisco Lake then on to 13 curves, taking 175 back towards Skan-eles. The run should take a couple of hours. We'll be passing a vineyard, New Hope Mills and a bakery if anyone is in the mood for stops.

If anyone is interested- be at Skan-eles between 12 and 1
