Someone did the same thing to my 71 chevelle 454 convertible a couple of years back. The only difference is that I saw him out my front window on my house and he damn near got shot. But he went to jail instead. It was one of the stupid neighborhood teens. Luckily he was 18 and got trialled as an adult. Anyways sorry for your loss and your headache.
Slashed top... can just the outer canvas be replaced?
So some idiot last night decided to break into my solstice by slashing through the side of the top by the window so they could put there arm through and unlock it... What I'd like to know is can you replace just the top canvas part or does the entire top need to be replaced?
