So you paid more than MSRP ? Because mine was 25000.00 with tax and reg an dealer fee(Loaded MSRP was 24,680.00). But I only paid tax on 15,00.00 because of trade, so add on another 600.00, so mine with no trade would of been 25,600.00. How much over MSRP did you pay?JCRRPZ said:msrp is 24,675
my billof sale is 28,876.12
thats what I paid the dealer for it
i have the title and all the paperwork

Tax laws can vary state to state. In New York, the dealer is required to tax you at the new cars transaction price before any deductions for a trade in. So you would have had to pay tax on the full $24,680.00 if you lived in our horrible state. Right now, that would be $2036.10, but some counties have even higher sales tax rates. Other states may work the same way. Some states may also collect a personal property tax on cars (something New York has yet to discover, shhhh!).deluke said:So you paid more than MSRP ? I wouldn't sell it for less than I paid either.Fformula88 said:Tax laws can vary state to state. JC, I cannot blame you for trying to get what you paid for it! Best of luck! Have you tried putting it on ebay with a reserve? It might be worth a shot. It seems most people who are willing to pay over MSRP for a car seem to be in southern states right now.

Pace Car said:Key Pontiac also has / had car 125. I was driving down Route 22 about two weeks ago and saw it sitting in the service area. Service was closed but I was able to walk in and sit in the car. I did notice the 1 of 1000 emblem on the dash was firmly secured!
