Someone probably already touched on this, but does anyone know if its the same old steel key, or the new all plastic keyfob type?

All steel keys with no plastic end went out with Yugo's. Key has an embedded rfid chip , passkey III, or some such thing.

I don't think any of us have actually seen what the key looks like. The only person who might have who can say is MCEB when he saw them driving the car into the truck at the auto show.

Sorry to nit-pick, but it is PASS-Key III+

PASS-Key III has the resistor in the metal portion of the key. (10 combos)
PASS-Key III+ has the transmitter in the key head. (Billions of combos)

The + is MUCH more secure and cannot be tricked with a mechanical copy of the key.
