I have tried contacting DDM asking them if they could provide the oem GM part number for the specific T56 that needs to be used for the conversion. I have not heard back. I have also spent hours on google trying to locate the part number with no success.

Is there anyone that might be able to help me?

There is a new version of this trans that is out now and DDM is using those instead of the older ones.

The description says 2006 or newer GTO t56 but 06 is the last year of the GTO and iirc the 05 is the same t56. I have an 04 GTO LS1/t56 in a 240sx. To bad that's a different t56 iirc, otherwise I'd steal it for my sky lol.

Cooper, do you know which newer trans you are speaking of? I'd love one in mine but don't care to add the weight of the ls motor with it.

Actually, Werks is developing a conversion kit. Dave says it will be available within a couple of months and it will offer more options (?) than what DDM is offering. Looking forward to what they come up with.

Hi GXP-Coupe1, I've PM you a couple times asking for your wheel backspacing offsets but have never received a response. If you don't want to reveal them that's fine but a reply indicating that would be appreciated. TIA.

Do you happen to have any information on the 'Newer' version of the T56? I was planning on ordering a new T56 in the next week or two, but if there is a newer updated version I need to know this!!

Please tell!!

Is the tr-6060 a direct plug and play replacement for the t56?

So moving forward. Can anyone provide a GM OEM number for the T6060, that has the same fitment that is required for the Solstice conversion. OEM T56 number is: 9215-5485. I'm very close to ordering a T56 from my dealership, but after reading about the updates on the T6060 (significant in my opinion), I think I am going to wait and try and find a cross referenced replacement.

I would hate to purchase a T6060 that has the incorrect output shaft length, or the shifter position is incorrect.

The tr-6060 is NOT a direct plug and play replacement for the t56.
check with DDM before buying 6060.
