Began wondering if the hard top targa was ever damaged , stolen, or if someone wanted to modify one by having a sunroof installed if GM still carries replacement hardtop's. Called CED and was told the GM system still shows replacement hardtops in stock and priced at 900 (Weird the optional soft top equaled or costs more).

Next question is anyone want to hazard a guess on what style sunroof would fit the hardtops' curvature so its water tight?

Always figured if the coupe would have survived that sooner or later GM would have offered an optional tinted targa hard top like the vettes.

West Coast Custom customized a blue & silver 58 Nomad. WCC than subcontracted the cut out roof to a company that used it as a template to produce the plexiglass roof. Probably falls into if you have to ask how much you probably can't afford territory. The World Famous West Coast Customs®

Took this pic when the dew was still on the car. It sure looks like the outline of a sunfoof, doesn't it?

That's just the line of adhesive holding the headliner in (they had recalls because the glue they'd used failed, dropping the mat on owner's heads.
