This is Santiago Teal colour code WA717S. It was a 2010 colour. This has been posted before from someone and the past post indicated it was the only one made and a Canada only colour. There were to be other new 2010 colours, Opus Green, code WA710S for the Sky, and the Solstice "Sly" colour replaced with "Dark Labyrinth Gray Metallic", code WA707S and lastly, Kinetic Blue code WA720S.

Hey guys, I'm new here.
I own the 2010 Canadian Teal coupe. I just bought it today (Friday February 19, 2010) from SmartAuction which is the closed auction where GM exclusively sells their Company cars through to GM delaers only. You needed to be a Pontiac (expired) Dealer to purchase. Its called no cross line buying. It is at QEK )Global Solutions INC) and its serial number 22.

On a side note regarding making models (year) ahead of scheduled production, here is how it goes. GM builds a very limited number of the next year or projected year vehicles. They are used for promotion, shows and quality assurance. These are not used for testing courses. They are different cars. These cars have all the projected production changes. GM then begins regular production and if (only if) there are any last minute changes, these cars get the retro fit to bring them in line exactly with the regular run. They are then sold to Dealers through closed auction. In this case there was never a start of production run because of Pontiacs demise. They are 2010's not just left over parts and not 2009's. There just never was a production run. I will be picking the car up on Monday. It has 5000 km's on it, about 3000 miles. The warranty is full balance. By the way colours (colors) are not always correct on GMVIS but the invoice's are. None of these are SEMA repaints. I sold an 07 Hahns Experimental Turbo in 08 that was a SEMA car.

Cheers from the great white north

Great buy. Park it indoors and only drive it to keep the battery charged and fluids circulated. That is a great color.

Personality Color Turquoise
While you may not exhibit all the personality traits of a personality color turquoise as listed here, if turquoise is your favorite color you will find yourself somewhere in the description. You may also find you exhibit some of the negative traits, particularly when you are stressed.

Having a personality color turquoise means that you are friendly and approachable, easy to communicate with.
You are compassionate, empathetic and caring.
You have a heightened sense of creativity and sensitivity.
You speak from the heart and love sharing your inner most thoughts.
As a personality color turquoise you usually have highly developed intuitive abilities.
You seek spiritual fulfillment, and you are often an evolved or 'old' soul.
You are trying to create balance in your life as you swing emotionally from one direction to the other. Although presenting a cool and calm exterior, and appearing to be stable and balanced, beneath the surface you may be in chaos, on an emotional roller coaster ride.
You are self-sufficient, with good self esteem and an ability to love and care for yourself.
You are a clear thinker and good decision maker.
You have good organizational and management skills.
With a personality color turquoise, you make a good boss, as you tend to influence others rather than be bossy and demanding.
You are confident and find public speaking to be easy - with your ability to focus and concentrate on the most important things and your capacity for clarity of thought, communication comes easy to you.
You are good at multi-tasking - focusing on one thing at a time bores you.
You have strong powers of perception and can be selective and discerning, balancing the pros and cons of any situation, then identifying the best way forward.
Your thinking can become scattered at times, particularly when you try to accomplish too much at once. This can overtire you and you become emotionally out of balance.
You can be self-centered, tuning in to your own needs to the exclusion of the needs of others.
You can be boastful and narcissistic, appearing egotistical and conceited.
You fear being alone and can become aloof and unapproachable when this occurs, making the situation even worse.
You can be impractical and idealistic with an overactive mind creating emotional imbalance - you need turquoise to bring you back into balance.
If operating from a negative perspective, you may lack communication skills, have difficulty in expressing yourself, including your emotions, be unreliable and deceptive, have creative blocks, or be either over emotional or non-emotional.
You may be naturally drawn to turquoise when you are suffering emotional stress as it is the color that controls and heals the emotions - this may be a temporary choice of a favorite color turquoise.

Shouldn't be any reason why the car can't go south. I think there are more issues coming north as daytime running lights are law up here. Not sure about down there.

It is mostly likely that the gauges are dual, printed with both in KMS in large type and MILES in smaller type. I say likely because that is normal up here but I haven't seen the listed car personally.
The electronic aspect of the gauges are easily switch from metric to imperial in the DIC controls. I switch my Redline's frequently.

There's a lot of things about the 2010's that we don't know about. Window stickers are a great source of info, but the few 2010's that were manufactured in the middle of the 2009 run were pre-production vehicles... meaning no window stickers (like the 102 pre-production 2009 coupes). The only coupes that shipped with window stickers were the 1,152 regular-production sequentially-vin'd ones.

Even the original MSRP on the 2010's is unknown...

Yes and yes....

It takes some doing, but a friend of mine has a family member that buys US vehicles and takes them to Canada to sell. Surprisingly it's not all that expensive (about $150) from going US to Canada.... DRL are just a relay they change....

Either my eyes are worse than I thought or the pic is too grainy, because I can't see any LEDs in any of the dial faces.

BTW, how do you visually distinguish a A/C equipped car from a non-A/C equipped car?

There should be a snowflake symbol on the temperature dial if the car is equipped with A/C
Mine was factory ordered with "A/C-delete" option and my temp dial looks exactly like the one on the picture. I still do have recirculation and defrost LEDs present (on the other dials)

I always assumed the difference is . . . . . .

Yep, no AC. I think this was mentioned about a year ago when this car was for sale. It is in Canada ya know......just don't buy it and take it down to Florida.

It would save weight as far as speed goes...no compressor, no condensor, fewer hoses, etc. Not sure that helps with a sale.....
