Hello everyone!! Last week my DIC was not reading the coolant temperature (---). I unplugged the temperature sensor and it started working again. Yesterday the same thing happen and also the check engine light pop up.... After reading here, I realize that maybe my thermostat is not working properly, but I decided to disconnect the battery for 20 minutes and now its working fine... My question is if I should change the thermostat (i am going on a roadtrip for a couple of days) or wait to see if the light pop up again....

I would replace it before your trip to be safe...:yesnod: Nothing worse than having car problems especially cooling on a road trip...
