An item I found on ebay looks to good to be true. It is a Magnetic fuel saver device. You think it actualy works?

Vibe, Grand Am prix, Solstice Gas Fuel Saver - (eBay.ca item 150345481607 end time 21-May-09 01:29:06 EDT)

If it does save fuel and give your car HP, this might be worth buying for that cheap.

Edit: I also found this item:

FUEL GAS SAVER PONTIAC SOLSTICE 2006-2008 2007 8:eBay Motors (item 280347297613 end time May-21-09 09:14:39 PDT)

This one sounds like a fake, but every feedback comments the seller received are positive... lol

This is an oldie but a goodie scam. Its been done twice that I know of... The one that comes to mind is when they tried to run this one back in the 70's when Carter was in office and we had all of the gas shortages and lines.

It didnt work or do anything then and it certainly wont do anything now to boost gas mileage or improve hp.

If you think it will, go to a farm supply store and get yourself 4 cow magnets. These are some of the strongest magnets you can purchase relatively cheap. Its not going to imporve gas mileage either but at least you wont have over spent for the magnets and these are much stronger

These things work but only on the third day of a full moon when driving in reverse up hill. I have 6 so I save 6 times as much gas. Try this instead, Fitch Fuel Catalyst - Home
It at least has the benefit of keeping your gas fresh, I use it instead of Sta-Bil in my Harley not sure it has any other benefits but it hasn't hurt anything and my gas doesn't go bad when the bike sits all winter.

ANYTHING that sounds too good to be true ... 99 times out of 100 it is not worth the time to look at.

BTW .. you know that a LOT of Ebay sellers have 'friends and family' post up excellent reviews in order to increase their positive ranking. I actually had one threaten to start posting negative comments on my buyers thread when I complained about not receiving a product I had paid for. IMHO many things on Ebay just aren't worth the hassle.

Now, for my other question: do penis enlargement pills work? (jk)

From everything I have heard the only thing that works in that department is a stretcher. You attach it to the end of your willie, and add weight.

I discussed the tornado with my superiors at the chain that sold it. They said they believed the BS. I'm sure that thier profits convinced them.

I viewed it as a challenge to my integrity. My store didn't sell one while I was there. I wasn't there long....

The bottom line is that the people that screw other's are the winners in our society and people generally believe what they see on TV.
