I have a 08 GXP with the usual DDM stuff, Solo exhaust, and a Trifecta tune. I don't know if it is just me or what, but after the tune I seem to be getting a bit more of a throttle response delay. I have searched the forum and discovered something called a Sprint Booster. Some of the threads are for and others are against and others middle of the road. At $300 I am sitting on the fence until I get a better idea what it does and how it works. I also heard or read somewhere that Vince from Trifecta is working on a solution. Does anyone know anything about this? Does anyone else have the same problem or maybe I just don't know how to drive? I did e-mail Vince but haven't heard back yet.

cheers, Don

Sprint booster is a bit of a gimmick, if you press the pedal down further you get the same affect. Basically how it works is if you push the pedal down 25% it tells the ecm you pressed it down 50%, and if you push it down 50% it tells the ecm its fully depressed.
Im sure vince will have a better solution to the throttle delay.

I don't have any issues with throttle response with trifecta budget tune. in fact response got noticeably better with the tune. it's one of the reasons I'd recommend the budget tune for everyone that owns a gxp/red line. it actually makes the car more drivable even if u don't need/use the extra power

I've never had any issue with the stock pedal ratio, I just automatically adjust to whatever throttle opening I want. In fact I've never understood why anyone would want the sprint booster on our cars (apparently it makes much more difference on some cars - BMWs if memory serves?)
