Does anyone feel like the throttle return spring is too weak on the 2.4 engine? If so, have you done anything about it?
The accelerator pedal is just a bit too soft to suit me.

I think he just means the return spring on the pedal, of which I haven't heard of anyone messing with.

It is indeed "throttle by wire". I suspected it's a complete "assembly" that would include the spring inside the unit.

ACCELERATOR CONTROL. Fits: Sky, Solstice | Nalley Buick GMC Brunswick

Not sure how you could stiffen it up without taking the whole thing apart and not sure what the implications are once you open it. I'm going to assume it's ultrasonically welded or heat staked (the plastic is melted together). Might be better to find a used or defective one to see how you could open it, whether anything flies out of it when you do, and what your options are to get it closed back up after installing a stiffer spring.

Thanks for the responses. I've still got a lot to learn about this caR.
I guess I could try to figure some external way to add a little resistance to the pedal. Like a small spring somewhere or something.
