Its unusual to part out a running car. Can we surmise that the car has motor problems that prevent your selling it as a used car?

If so, then there are potentially a lot of bits and pieces that people would be interested in acquiring. Any rubber seals, the top assembly, body panels, seats etc.

Are you in fact planning on pulling any and all parts off the car and selling them?

Thanks:lurk:

yeah and what ever happened to that guy with the cut top? I bet he would be interested.

If it's running I'm sure you could easily get 14,000 cash for it. Not running you might be aboe to get 9 or 10. parting it out I doubt you will get that much and be stuck with something that you can't move. it will be a huge eye sore.

Yes sir anything I can do my self, I don't have much tools but I can manage. So everything is on the list to go. And if you must really know why its because of a lawsuit so I have to get rid of my toys to come up with the money and its a lot of money at that. I have a Mr2 I'm parting out as well.

gotcha. well that sucks but you gotta do what you gotta do. I'm sure there's several guys on the forum that will take stuff off your hands. the little stuff shouldn't be a problem but once you start getting into the bigger parts like seats, wheels and body parts then packaging and shipping becomes a problem. I'm sure you are selling things a lot lower than what you could buy on line but most stores get a huge break on freight charges and packaging and that's gonna cost quite a bit more for you and offset a lot of the costs. good luck though.
