Contact an upholsterer that works with boats if you can't find the right clip

Are you speaking of the black plastic clip that attaches to the defroster vent?
I can trace out the shape in the form of a three view blueprint with dimensions. You could then fabricate from sheet steel, stainless or aluminum. The two pins would be the hard part but I have an idea for that.
...or find someone who can do 3D printing (I think it's called).
PM if interested.

Pins!

Don't know if absolutely needed. The one on the car has one pin broken off.
Yes, I have two of these. Not for sale! Too hard to come by.

Will this work?

I am not a blueprint drawer or an artist. Sometimes, I can barely read a rule! This drawing should get you close if you have to make one of these brackets.

I will try to trace out and dimension the bracket for the antenna mount in the near future. Right now, my car is in storage while I have the MGB home to play with.

Pm or email me...where abouts do you live? I am in SW Ohio, just above Dayton.
I could send you the one on my car now...has one missing pin. You could use that to make your mold or for 3D printing.
I would want it sent back to me, tho.

Welcome to the forum.

Tonneau covers are sometimes available used, or as purchased but uninstalled. There is not a commercial supplier of them.

Be aware that installation requires drilling holes in the body for snaps, an action that many do not want to do.
This is the main reason that uninstalled covers are available.

New in a box with all the pieces are almost impossible to find. You will have to pay north of $500 US to get one. If you see one for less .....grab it. Keep your eyes here and on eBay. They do come up once in a while. I recently sold one here as I had a spare.
