Well not having a great day. Looks like my left rear sensor has gone out. Gave me a problem went I left from NASSM, but it started to work. Now it went out for good today. So I orderd a new one today. Sucks:(

I thought the life of the batteries in the senders was around 5 years. This is going to be a common thing, I'd think.

The senders can be rebuilt for about half the price of new ones. See Discount or your local tire guys.

cars are getting too demandingl so I guess you are getting a CEL because of it? If it were me, I'd be trying to bypass that crap.

Well I changed my TPS senors today. Did the reprogramming and it still was giving me an error. So I reflashed my ECU and did the reset again. This time worked like a top. Now bring on the roads. Lol

How did you get the tire to bead back up on the rim when you took it off?

Used our coats tire changer at my shop.

You know, what I don't understand is why they need batteries. We used to have self winding watches. Why not these? There is plenty of energy in a spinning wheel.

Good question. Maybe it is cheaper making them run off batteries. I got the original ones in my 05 Frontier on the same batteries. If my batteries were running dead ever 5 years or so, I would have a problem with that but I'm getting ready to turn 10 years on my batteries. Hope I didn't jinx myself there.
