LS7 650 horsepower pontiac solstice (No pics)

LS7 650 horsepower pontiac solstice - $40000 (Memphis, Michigan)

2007 Pontiac solstice. Ls7 power 650 hp. Tremec 6 speed, Cadillac ctsv rear end. All gauges a/c cruise control work. Averaged 21mpg cruising at 80 mph on the way to Frankenmuth, MI autofest. Parked on the street for the block party and had more interest than the 63 split window next to me. This car is top notch and is not a cobbled together piece. I put 5000 miles on it this summer and had no problems. This car is awesome. I need to sell to fund a new business venture. Cost to duplicate engine is 20+k, please no low ballers open to trades plus cash. Especially diesel trucks. 810-305-00fournine. No dealers/brokers. Car must be driven to be believed. If you drive you will buy. Call text or email.

Nice find! Thanks for the post! Very rare vehicles, no longer being produced by Mr. Mallet
Interesting. The 5 speed if its the factory transmission might be an issue for some but the car looks very nice.
Interesting car, originally built with cloth seats, and Mallett installed the leather seat covers. Nice looking low mileage car, same colors as my car.
I am watching the auction as I am interested in what this car goes for, compared to my car when I bought it in November of 2016, this car has the following assets compared to my car. 12,000 less miles, new tires & battery, DDM backbone brace installed. It also has the duel exhaust rear facia and twin exhaust outlets. It also has the slightly better version of the AR-5 trans.
But the car is a bit more of a base model than my car, painted wheels, single disc CD player, no steering wheel audio controls, plastic steering wheel.
It also does not have the Penske non adjustable shocks my car has.
It is at $25,000 as I write this with 4 days to go. It is already $1000 more than I paid for my car 5 years ago.

Sold for $32,500 a bit less than I expected, got to meet the seller on Wednesday evening after it sold, nice guy that wasn’t aware of our community. It was great getting to see 2 Sly Mallett’s parked next to each other, I don’t know when that has happened last. Probably At Mallett’s shop in Oh10.

This 2006 Pontiac Solstice was manufactured in January 2006 and modified by Mallett Cars Ltd. of Berea, Ohio the following August with a 6.0-liter GM LS2 V8 and a five-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a 3.42:1 differential, a custom driveshaft, coilover suspension, 19″ wheels, a dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers, air conditioning, the factory Preferred Package, and more. This example is finished in red with a black manually-operated soft top that is shown both raised and stowed under a rear-hinged deck lid. A restyled lower rear valance houses a 3″ dual-exit exhaust system with polished tips. Aftermarket 19″ wheels wear staggered-width Nankang Ultra Sport NS-II tires which show 2012 date codes. Mallett/Penske coilovers were fitted during the initial V8 conversion along with polyurethane rear A-arm bushings and differential mounts. Factory two-tone leather seats feature Mallett V8 headrest embroidery. The car is equipped with the Preferred Package, and amenities consist of air conditioning, power windows/mirrors/locks, a CD player, and a short-throw shifter with an aluminum knob. The front-hinged hood opens to reveal a General Motors 6.0-liter LS2 V8 adorned with Mallett-branded carbon fiber covers. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox with an LS2 clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel as well as a custom driveshaft and a 3.42:1 differential.

Price is $30,000 firm

I do also with those mods, but this car has swapped owners at least 2 times in the last couple of years. Always makes me wonder why?

I well remember when I took delivery of my LS Sol. Before driving it, I had visions of a GXP only more. On that first drive my immediate reaction was WTF have I done? It has a totally different feel. I can see prospe

I know one modified Sky owner who was so scared of his car he would not drive it at all. His first ride in a V8 kappa was in Punisher and he loved it. But he was scared to death of his own car.

"Now I know why they make seat belts.
They're not concerned with my safety, the ambulance driver is too lazy to look for the body."

Possibly the best comedy skit of all time.

He, he, he, I remember that skit. I've got a collection of Cosby's comedy acts on LP vinyl I've hade for (ack) 50 years. Still listen to them every so often.
A supercharged LS motor in a Solstice is a death wish if driven on the street.
On the strip, with slicks, roll bar, chute, perhaps fun!
I guess all the seat time in 400+ Hp Vega's trained me what to expect out of my LS Solstice, Those Vega/Astre's were lighter, and had alot less tire under them. They could get scary, I got one sideways on drive pavement at over 50MPH once by stomping on it and downshifting from 4th to 3rd gear! I think the Porsche 911 driver I was trying to pass may still be laughing at me!

2007 Mallett Sky #014. 657hp Supercharged LS7 - Tremec 6-speed manual, on BAT. 1st Cloth Seat Mallett conversion I have seen. I have seen 1 other Mallett that came with cloth seats, but had leather coves with the Mallett logo's added during the conversion. I did not have this car on my registry. It is now added and I will update the registry posting when I get some time.
