If you read the description for the car it only states the backbone brace has been done. It does however state that there is a ford meatball in it so there could have been some work done to stiffen the chassis in the rear when that was put in. More then likely not because it sounds as tho the car still has an independent rear suspension and there would be no need to tie the 2 sides of the chassis together when doing that.
The TC and ESC do 2 things when they activate they step on the brakes for the wheel that is spinning faster then the rest of the wheels but it also cuts the throttle. If the tires actually connected right out of the hole the chassis on the Kappa would twist if the car has an engine in it that has a lot of bottom end torque. suspension mods does nothing for chassis stiffening. you will get a stiffer ride from suspension mods but that is not the stiffing that needs to be addressed.
This is to the extreme but you can see what I am talking about..
3 tires on the ground and one in the air.. only way that is going to happen is if the chassis is twisting because of the amount of torque.
Now here you see a stiffened chassis. both tires up an even amount
Those are examples and exaggerated ones at that.
that kind of twist occurs in the Kappas and is why the windshields have stress cracked as mine has done (and it is still cracked). Put a torque monster V8 in the car with tires that stick and if nothing breaks the amount of torsional forces that get transferred to the chassis is going to be far larger then what caused my windshield to crack. One way of avoiding that kind of stress is to not put wide tires on the car so they can spin and that stops the majority of the torque from being absorbed by the chassis.
