My sister has these and she wants to go back to stock. They are currently installed on her Sky, about 3-4 years old and about 24K miles. Can send pics, but they would look like the rest.

She has the dark blue sky. She needs the stock hinges before we can either trade or sell. I know these are $1200 new from DDM.

Ideally, I would like to get the stock hinges installed before sending out VDIs, but I know that is a tough one. If there are serious buyers, I can get the local shop to remove and either order stock ones or wait on parts.

Lets start at $750 shipped contiguously for the VDIs and go from there.

Anyone know the parts needed to go back to stock or have them lying around? Are stock hinges painted black or body color? Looks like the stock hinges are same for both sky/sol.
25804035 is dr lower and pass upper;
25804036 is dr upper and pass lower. Do I just need these 4 hinges?

Unless the door stop is still in the door you will need them so when the door is opened it won't swing all the way back .

Check with Dave and see if he has a set of stock hinges laying around.


Alternatively, check with Jeff at Chipmagic.biz as he has done at least 2 VDI installs on kappa's and might have a factory set laying around.

If Jeff does not, ask him what the price is for a recycled set of hinges is. He can get you a price. He runs a body and paint shop and is wired into all recycle, and reconditioned parts providers. He has saved me a ton of money. Which I then spent on Punisher :willy:
