Off topic, I am actually excited that I found a non-GXP as I prefer the front bumper having no lower chin and the fog lights area looks more like the concept coupe.

I see they fixed the ad from when you posted it yesterday.

The dealer should be able to tell you what it has installed.

If it was a GXP for that price I would be very tempted to buy it out from under you. LOL! Don't hesitate too long. Many are trying to sell those coupes for the unbelievable price of $30,000 and higher. I can buy a '11 Vette coupe for that price.

Agreed, meanwhile blackbook and KBB priced this coupe in the OP at $13k and my finance guy is having a hard time justifying their asking price.

Compnine used to be free... it appears that the information it used to provide (option codes for your specific VIN) are no longer provided without a payment of some kind.

That said, just eyeballing it, it appears the car had most, but not all, 2009 options:
- Premium Pacakge (leather seating, leather steering wheel w/controls)
- a/c
- chrome wheels
- Monsoon sound system (per DaveOC's hard work.

It does not have either of the two optional radios:
- US9 (6-disc changer)
- UUI (USB port)

It also does not appear to have the sport pedals from what I can make out in the pic.

It looks nice and isn't a terrible price. I'm on the lookout for a manual GXP myself, but all I keep coming across are either automatic GXPs or base vehicles. A lot of base coupes.

Check out AutoTrader if you haven't already. Everett Buick GMC in Arkansas is also listing a 2009 coupe, but the price is unlisted. When I checked their website, it's not there, so it may be an old AT posting.

There's also a murdered-out base coupe in Oklahoma City for about $2,000 more that this one you're looking at, but it has the 6-CD changer and it looks like someone took the trouble to install the dual exhaust and dual rear fascia on it. Mileage is also about 15K less than the one you're looking at.

Yup, I'm a nerd.

I understand distance being an issue, but think of all the fun you'd have driving back home! I'm not a good person to talk distance though. I drove 4 hours, practically to the Mexican border, to pick up my Sky.

Good luck with your search. If this car isn't for you, just be patient. The right one will come around sooner or later.

That is the first thing that popped out at me. I guess it is because it doesn't have Silver anywhere else. I think the stock lights look fine on my '06, but they do look out of place on that all black car.

Of course those other ads are 'asking' price. Almost all of them expire without the vehicle being sold.

I would go to the dealer with the loan officer information. The dealer is aware that most people need to finance, so unless they are into the car for more than it is worth, they should be willing to haggle.

The dealer I bought my Roadster at had it priced $3000 over what I paid.

Also, be aware that compnine doesn't list all vehicles that are supposed to match a certain type (there was a thread on this some time ago). As for my own coupe, there were 37 made in "Mean" Yellow, but compnine only states 33.
