I’m gonna pull the valve cover and check everything, only reason I suspect a sensor is because the sensor is the only component that isn’t new.
Uhhh…. Did you accidentally reply to the wrong discussion?Code P2728 is a transmission code that likely came up because of the car going into limp mode. Sounds like you have a dirty or bad MAF (mass airflow sensor) which can make the car run badly. Parts stores sell a spray cleaner for the MAF
I believed he replied to @G-Ram who replied to you a few posts back where he shared his experience with MAF issues and commented he had this code, and to @JohnWR who replied to him.Uhhh…. Did you accidentally reply to the wrong discussion?

Yeah I remember you mentioned you're a CPA. My wife's an accountant too. At least I have my taxes in order 😁That would have been right up my alley before I retired. I specialized in forensic accounting, even went to the local FBI office for some training in tracking illicit transactions. Catching tax cheats was a big part of my job with the state tax commission. Corporation's are some of the biggest cheaters even though their making millions or billions in profits. Pure greed. Our biggest case was Boise Cascade, a large multinational corporation headquartered in Boise that underreported their earnings over a period of a few years to the tune of $17.5 million and we nailed them to the wall. The CFO was charged criminally but got off with a slap on the wrist and the corporation had to pay a $100,000 fine which I'm sure for them was a joke. If you have enough money and lawyers the justice system is pretty meaningless. I'm sure the heads of Americanas and 3G Capital will probably never see the inside of a courtroom and even if they do they'll get off with a small fine and nobody goes to jail. Completely unfair system that lets corporations get away with murder.
