WCKCC San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Atascadero, Cambria One-Day Run June 30th

The WCKCC (West Coast Kappa Car Club) is planning a One-Day Mini Meet Saturday June 30th.

This run will take place in one of California’s most scenic areas. The Central Coast is relatively traffic free. I have many deserted backcountry roads mapped out. This should be a great little get away for you, your co-pilot and your kappa.

I think we will meet in Avila Beach, just north of Pismo Beach. From there we will take See Canyon Rd to San Luis Obispo, then onto Los Osos along the estuary to Morro Bay for lunch.

After lunch we will head up Hwy 41 through Atascadero to Templeton, down Santa Rita Creek Rd to Cayucos and Cambria.

In Cambria we will stop for coffee an visit some of the quaint shop.

Those who came from the north can head home up Hwy 1 through Big Sur or head back through Paso Robles to Hwy 101 with us for some wine tasting.

This promises to be a great drive. I hope we can count on you participation. Please let me know if you are interested in joining us

If anyone knows their back roads....its you Sal. After the event you put on earlier this spring, I can imagine this one will be fantastic! I just wish you could bring your road knowledge up here.:yesnod: I don't know where you come up with the time to find those gems. But then I guess you did grow up in the area. I would love to make this one, but the wife likes me around the house every once in a while....go figure.

Sounds like a nice run, but I'll be in Vegas, the last leg of my Nationals trip.

Looking forward to seeing all though.

P.S. I'm in Oklahoma City now, and I haven't seen a Kappa since Vegas. :( :(

This run promises to be a good one. We will be touring some of the most picturesque areas of California. Please let us know if you are considering attending.

Me 2 Please!! Next Time!!

I am unable to join U 4 this run in 07.

If U plan this run in 08 Please post it as early as U R' able, b'cause I want 2 Plan N' join in on this Solstice fun run.

I may have had to leave central an' north central Calif; but it has never let me go!!!

I will always love 2 run with all U central Ca Runners.

At least once a year anyway!!

LA to the Redwoods, and all points north, LOVE 2 ...:driving:... IT ALL !!!

Hellllloooooooooo out there........
Can anybody hear me?

I have only one car willing to come down from Los Banos. I told him, unless we get more people interested in this run, we might cancel. :(
There is still time for you to let me know if you are interested in an amazing drive. I have a bunch of secret spots I am willing to share. Just don't tell anyone. ;)

I hope you don't end up cancelling the run! You know I would be there in a heart beat if I didn't have to work. It is an awesome area. I have a very similar picture on my desk top I took last summer.

Wow! I live up in the San Jose area. SLO is only 2 hours south. Unfortunately, I got a project to finish and have to work this weekend. :(

What nice scenery. Take lots of photos please. I have driven the GXP as far down south as Paso Robles. And also along HWY1, the twisties along that road calls out to me. :lol:
