Since purchasing my 2008 Solstice GXP 3 weeks ago I have been looking for the same. Saw one the other day and honked as I went by going the other way. He never saw me....Whats the etiquette?

I'm called "solli the Solstice stalker" because I've been known to turn right around and follow them home, sometimes right into their driveways.

Today I made a U-turn and followed this one down the street where I was able to jump out, run over and babble on and on about our NJ MASSC club and the upcoming event next year.

I ask you? How often does one get to see a Wicked Coupe in one's own backyard? It was WONDEROUS!

LOL you are like me there's 2 solsti in my town I've tried to pursued them to talk to me using my business cards but they are shy hahaha never contact me and it sux every time i see the other 2 solstice folks i'm driving the work car and not my garage king.

and that's how I usually preface my conversation: "I hope you don't think I'm crazy but..." It takes the edge off and they're laughing and happy which is the main thing - to let them know there's more like them in the area and they don't have to be driving solo on flat city roads if they don't want to.


I was so excited that I told Ruby she was a "star!" She said "I have the Wicked /Ruby Red targa top. Only one in X amount ever made." At that point we exchanged info. :thumbs:

I've gone to as far as hanging out with miata,mazda 3 guys i just love showing off the solstice every chance i get

We always wave. Have seen 4 Kappas total in our area. We've known one of them long before he got his Sky. The second Sky in the area I talked to in a parking lot and ended up going on a run with the Michigan club last summer. The other two that we've seen on the road did not wave - one of them didn't wave twice.

Come on, people! What the hell is WRONG with you! You CAN'T be in a bad mood driving your Solstice!

I chased one in a parking lot and was shocked to see how disgusting the car was inside. Filthy filthy and the driver was just as bad.

Never again. I'll just wave the next time I guess...

I always wave and if they don't wave back, I honk to get their attention. Last week, though, I saw a pretty black Sol on the Interstate ahead of me. So I sped up next to him and waved, but he paid no attention. A few minutes later I saw him in my rearview mirror headed up beside me so I figured he finally got it. NOPE - he still didn't wave. His nose was scraping the clouds. I really hate it when they don't wave back. :willy:
