I just topped off my coolant 2 days ago, weird? Any thing I could do, or just ignore it? Any way to reset it? It goes off from time to time then away…
These cars are known for water pump failures and that’s usually where it leaks from (and it starts as a really slow leak that only blinks this light at you occasionally). I currently am replacing my WP in my parent’s garage.

it may not be that, but to check, your water pump is on the front and passenger side of the engine block, near the bottom. It’s under the turbo intake hoses. It’ll be leaking almost center line but right biased between the front wheels if it is your WP.

Also check to see what the level is after driving for a while. There can be air bubbles in the system that could cause the level to vary. If the light comes on during hard acceleration, braking, or cornering, the level is suspect. Just because it looks good in your driveway doesn't mean it's truly "good".

On my 2006 I was getting a low coolant light on when the engine was cold, coolant level was always OK, tried the wire connector reset, and it helped for a couple of weeks, but then it started again, changed the reservoir to change the sensor, Issue solved. Kinda a pain the the sensor is molded into the reservoir, but the part is less than $50 so not much more than the sensor itself would be.

I bought a new overflow tank and sadly held it next to the 15 year old one in the car. The new one is pure white. And pretty. And smooth to the touch . . . . Sigh
The old one is wrinkled, dirty brown, and kind of lumpy.

Now I am getting urges.

There are also reports of the connector to the coolant level sensor on the "bottle" being corroded or the level sensor itself failing. I'd recommend disconnecting and reconnecting the plug several times to clean the contacts and see if that clears it up.
yes - it happens - this was my problem on one of my cars.
