I was hoping they would show the top and trunk there!!
Be patient, first a dealer had to tape the broadcast, then figure out how to transfer image to uploadable, then figure if they want to violate the little copyright stuff from GM ----OR accidentally lose the tape in the circular file and put it out with the trash where it is fair game, heh heh heh. Once your dealer gets his kit I'm sure you can watch it there till the pixels come home.enderokc said:I thought someone on here was going to post pics of the top they saw yesterday durring the broadcast!!! Sorry no video from my source. I am going to wait for a week and a half for the DVD to arrive at the dealer and see if I can "borrow" it.enderokc said:I guess I am just impatient for the car to get released!!I WANT THIS CAR!! hehe And I guess I am just venting because they didnt have one at my car show earlier this month

We've known for awhile that the top would not be lined. Thus the single layer look, even if reinforced at the ribs like an MGB.PAS22 said:Actually he's right. From the side view it reals gives the car a low profile. The only thing I didn't like in the brief moment in the broadcast that they showed the top up in the was that the ribs seemed very pronounced. Unlike many modern convertible tops where you barely notice the ribs. Suggests to me that the top material is thin, or a single layer.
pontiacinblack said:Did they show the operation? Is it something you can put up at a stoplight, or do you have to get out of the car?
GO BOILERS!!!....er....um....nevermind
not be lined?!? is this on the sky and solstice or just the solstice?achieftain said:We've known for awhile that the top would not be lined. Thus the single layer look, even if reinforced at the ribs like an MGB.

This totally slipped my mind. Does the top in the video have the AFBTS's (buttresses)? If so, how did they operate for removal?PAS22 said:Yes they did show the top operation and through the magic oF video it looks simple and fluid. Like I said somewhere else, they stuffed it into the trunk showing from a rear view with the lid up so you counldn't see inside! D_m!
Purdue? Next year (maybe).
GO BIG RED!!!!
