Just wondering where you got your wheels. Noticed all the wheels tire rack has are about 40 offset, but stockers are 55mm. Is that going to be fine? I am stock FE3 suspension might lower it with Eibach Pro springs. I would prefer to go with slightly wider tires in the rear when I get wheels.

You will not have a problem with this offset, You can even go down to a 35offset if needed.

Thanks...just noticed another thread about this right after I posted.

But...

I have an after market wheelset from my last car that I wanted to use but I was worried about offset and width.

They are 38mm os, 5 x 110, 17"x7.5" They have 225s on them, but I would get some slightly wider tires if needed.

Would I be able to get 245s on those or is that just to wide for that rim?

What if I just got some sticky 235s? Am I losing much for grip going to a slightly narrower tire?

NM researching...looks like it really depends on the sidewall height and varies by manufacturer. It would work fine for 245s...though finding a good tire in that size is tough...looks like I'd be better off just selling them as planned.
