I'm setting up my new AFR Gauge. It has a programming warning that can be set for both rich and lean settings.

I understand that 14.5 or 14.6 is a normal air to fuel ratio. At what point should I set the device to trigger a warning? both lean and rich?

Is the warning audible or just visual? Is your car standard or automatic? Reason I ask is if you have a standard, and your warning is audible, it will probably get extremely annoying very fast. When you shift the car into neutral after cruising the car goes momentarily lean and then levels back out.

Being direct injection. Our cars run on the lean side.

hmmmmm..... Where should our cars actually run? I'm wondering if I should be concerned. I average 14.7-14.9 at idle... My lowest at WOT was 10.8 and my highest was only 21.8. Do I have anything to be concerned about?

Do you have a guage cluster on your a-pillar? What manufacturer are you using for the a-pillar cluster? What brand are you using for your gauges?

No thats normal for a rich hit and lean correction, but wot afr above 14 is getting very lean...I hope you're only get 21.8 on decel. The car will dip rich at the initial wot and level out quickly to commanded lambda with the maf in the intake tube.
