This is to notify one and all Kappa owners and aficianados of the fifth annual Winter Solstice and Sky Celebration.

Not a ride, just a get together for food, drink, swapping Kappa stories and planning for warmer days to come. Bring your daily driver (and if your daily driver is a Kappa, that will work!)

Order from the menu...OR their wonderful buffet, available until 2 PM. Individual billing.

A final note -- this IS Michigan and it IS winter, so the weather is an unknown. If the weather gets nasty, I will try and post a cancellation notice here on the forum no later than 11 AM on Sunday morning (and re-schedule).

I plan to attend. I know last year the weather really limited participation. This is a great get together to socialize with fellow Kappa owners. We can also discuss events for 2014. Hope to see y'all there!!

I'm still working weekends (afternoons) so I won't be able to attend the whole time, but I will try to show up early to say "Hi' before going to work.

Some members are looking for 'club cards'. My supply is gone. I've printed my own in the past but lost my formatted file last year when my computer crashed and burned. I'll try to redo it and print out some cards to bring along. If anyone else has extra cards please bring them for those who would like some.

Looking forward to the warmer weather (it will come eventually) and I'm hoping I can get a Saturday off here and there to join some rides.

As of today only six have RSVP'd on the MKC website. We now have over 200 members and it sure seems we could get a good turnout for a winter get together. With an RSVP it will help Carter know how many to expect and get proper accommodation. Hope to see you there.

Sorry Carter, but I won't be able to attend. My company wants me to be at work by 2:00pm Sunday (normally it's 3:00pm), and that doesn't give me enough wiggle room to even pop in for a few minutes.
I had even printed out a few sheets of MKC club cards to hand out. I would have printed more but my toner ran dry.
I positively will see everyone the first ride this year, even if I can't join in for the day.
