Maybe this isn't a concern, but people toss a lot of abbreviations and nouns-without-context around on this board and just assume that everyone knows what they mean.

Took me awhile to figure out that NASSM is North American Solistice Sky Meet because someone made a thread about hotels or something without saying what the event was, where it was, etc.

Seems like more of the same here. Just sayin'.

Sorry that the acronyms are confusing for you. Many have been around for years, as have many of the membership, and are known to us. If you have the desire to know what any of them are, please feel free to ask!

This thread is in the Club Section - Great Lakes region. WiSols stand for Wisconsin Solstice group. If you look under the club section you'll find many abbreviations for local/regional groups.

If you run across one that confuses you...politely ask someone to explain it meaning. I'm sure someone would explain it for you.
