You Might Be a Solstice Owner If….

You have a better chance driving a Snowblower, Zamboni, or Snowmobile before you get your Solstice.

You know from memory your salesmen's cell number, email address, and his wife's maiden name.

On a one week notice you flock to GM Mecca.

On April 14th 2005, you found yourself camped out in front of a dealer going over the EOP rules.

Your garage is ready, the accessories are in place to install and the calendar has been cleared for a bumper to bumper detail.

A family member goes into freeway traffic to save your beloved Solstice hat.

Today you have a better chance of knowing your Solstice birthday than your anniversary date.

Enough from me, you guys run with it!!!!!

If:

You have been waking your spouse in the middle of the night for the past 4 months with heel-toe foot movement.

You already walk around with a grin on your face that matches the frozen driver in the Mustang convertible ad.

You spend more time with your forum family :grouphug: than you do with your real one.

You spend WAY too much time on this forum!

You shudder with every ring of the phone, "Could this be THE call?"

You have entered thereapy from the stress.

You daily sweep the empty spot on the floor of your garage that you have made for your car.

Your dealer is making excusses not to take or return your pesty phone calls that are alsways the same, "Has there been any change in my status?".

Your kids have grown 3 inches since your car was built.

If your wife has picked up the book, "stick shifts for dummies"

If your vision has gone from 20/20 to 20/400 from reading the forum

If you think that GM stands for Gods Manufacturer or Give me

That the gifts that GM have sent are better than the gifts you got from your family for christmas

If your therapist is demanding you pay in advance

If you know more about the Solstice than several GM engineers

If your explaining to your friends who "Solsticeman" is

If you tend to buy stuff 6 months in advance without even really knowing what you're buying....

If you setup web cammeras on freeways and railroad station that will trigger an email in case of any sign of a Solstice

If you were around in 1948 you would be the proud owner of a set of matching luggage and a radio that say "Tucker"

Suggest you buy (or requisition) one of those bulletproof hummer laptops from Panasonic to place under your butt while you drive around the countryside. Stay safe.

My laptop is pretty rugged, butI do not think it is quite "bullet proof." ;) Here is an example ...

You're already shopping for really small luggage, shaped like a golf bag, but squishable.

You've got the first road trip planned, avoiding anywhere that it could rain, be dusty, and focusing on roads with at least 32 curves per mile.

You number of posts is higher than the number of Solstices produced YTD.

You know more about this car than any car you have ever owned.

You still can't say "I'm buying a Pontiac"

Friends and family now greet you by saying "So, have you gotten your car yet?" instead of asking "How you been?"
