Thought I would start a thread for ZZ,FM & reg, allocation cars. Please post any info you can give. State,Date shipped,date invoiced ect... They should start coming in this way we could keep some kind of track and to delivery amount of time to get delivered ect.

No delivery truck coming to Ct. today. So I think Ma. will be out of the picture for today. I'll update tomorrow.I assume Ct.,Ma. would be coming on the same truck.I don't know what other states will.

Finally Some Progress!!!!

Well, I went to the dealer to have a personal visit with the GM about the status of my order. Finally there has been some progress! :D

From the printout the manager gave me:

8/30 2500
8/30 3000
9/28 3100
9/28 3300
9/28 3400 Broadcast!!! Yeah!

Hopefully I'll get a VIN in another week or two (guesstimate based on other peoples orders). Can I now be hopeful for a Halloween delivery? ;)

My dealer's sales Manager ordered a 1st allocation after my zz and his order went from 3000 on 9-26 to 4150 today so these cars are cranking through production.

I'm sure the production codes are note updated by the minute but it shows how fast it can change.

Seeing how NJ got the very first post EOP car delivery known to these forums when that person is 500+ VIN #'s above me then you might have a very good chance if it gets made the end of this week, early next week.

brentil: Harry's VIN was 1410, yours is 1068, for a difference of 342, not 500+. However, 342 is still a considerable difference. Then again, there seem to be many low VINs of the F1K who STILL have not received their cars, so the whole system looks screwy. But what can we do?

Anyway, thanks very much for your help on the signature and picture problems. I'm trying to resolve them now.

Yeh, the low VIN's were the experimental cars, where Pontiac tried to figure out how to produce them (more truth in that, than I like to think about). Most likely the lower VIN's had more problems to fix, than the higher ones. Thus that mini-recall. Found out today that #35 is stuck somewhere in NW Nebraska. Dam railcar broke an axle (at least I hope that's what the message meant) and it's delaying delivery by ANOTHER five days. It's slow going on deliveries to the Western side of the U.S.
