WATCH MY LIPS ------------

Do NOT transit through the Wash/Balt area at rush hours!!! If you hit Baltimore about 11AM you'll have the best shot of less trouble.

You can by-pass Baltimore Washington two ways. One is to go down the Eastern Shore (Rt 13 I think)to the bay-bridge tunnel at Norfolk and join 95 south of there, the other way it to take rt 301 out of Delaware to the bay bridge and follow 301 south into Virginia (fair amount of lights from rt 50 to the river 48 or so). Then follow 301 out to 95 by Kings dominion.

I commute from just south of Baltimore to Tysons Corner in VA everyday, so I'd have to agree that, generally, rush "hour" here is typically 3-4 hours of 10-15 MPH (at best) gridlock. That's why my work hours have me leaving my house at 5:30 AM and leaving for home at 3:30 PM.:yesnod:

SolsticeEnjoying, that is nuts. I work 5 minutes from Tyson's. We should meet for lunch some time.

Nice! We can make that happen! I'll PM you with my availability for the next couple of weeks.

You couldn't *pay* me to ride 95 from one end of this state to the other. I'd rather sit on the Crawlmetto in rush hour with a headache, the top stuck down, 105 degrees/95% humidity, and no sun tan lotion. :brentil:

Florida Turnpike uber alles.
