In order of assumed rarity (forum feel free to jump in with corrections)

1) Smoothline Club Racer (total unknown) out of business
2) Smoothline Le Mans (total unknown) out of business
3) EDAG = 40 kits reportedly built (unknown amount completed and sold. Some incomplete kits known to have been sold)
4) Norm’s Fiberglass Coupe Top. (Still available, maybe. Call him and ask)
5) GMPP Carbon Fiber Race top. Not for street. (Anybody know how many were made?)
6) Chris Nankoo One Off Coupe Top - he destroyed the mold for it.
7) Dura Prototype split hard top. One known to exist.
8) recent Facebook post on a guy in Mexico that made a top by molding to the convertible. One off.

PS> the only hard top option known to still be available new is Norm’s. I say “maybe” because Norms Coupe top uses the original Solstice Coupe glass, weather seals and hardware. All of which are unobtanium now. He will sell you a coupe top without windows (race version) and you can make your own glass from lexan, etc.

well ngl i dont care about not street legal cause i gonna get an exhaust without a muffler anyway, soo.

 

I thought norms used a different rear window and the roadster door glass, and whoo knows what for the small triagular side ones. if I were to sell my edag I would get norms for my gxp. as for seals I dont really see a issue there, there are lots of seals out there.

 

Norm uses the rear hatch window, hardware and specific seals for it from the Coupe.
He makes the “B” pillar behind the door windows rounded for the vert windows.
I think the race version is squared for the B pillar but i haven't looked in a while.

not sure what the small quarter panel glass was sourced from.

Since the rear glass for the OE Coupe is one of the very hard to find pieces, that has slowed Norm down. I know last year he lucked into a few sets but i believe back then he was 5x top orders deep.

 

There is a GM SCCA carbon fiber hardtop available on FB, never installed, $5,000. SCCA hardtops had no seals, headliner, and had a Lexan rear window. Log into Facebook

 

I need to find the window weather striping or a good substitute. Anyone have any ideas?

I have a Slim Line Racer top on my Solstice but I need new weather striping. Cant get the originals.

 

You might get a better response if you create a new thread, and title it: Need help finding Smoothline Hardtop Weatherstripping.

Make sure to include if you have a Smoothline Club Racer hardtop, or a Smoothline Le Mans hardtop. Though I suspect Smoothline used the same style of side weatherstripping for both hardtops, it best to be clear on what style hardtop you have.

Posting responses in past hardtop threads is going to lead to confusion. Take it from someone who is a master expert in being perpetually confused; create a new thread.

are you looking for a particular color? My son has a hardtop he is looking to sell. He wasn't sure of the make so we are trying to narrow it down. We was thinking it may be a pontiac. (he got in in a storage locker he had purchased from an estate)
