I hope you can make this happen. We have had a very active club in Colorado since 2007. My experience has been that you need at least one person who is willing to invest the time and energy into setting up events and inviting people to participate. Over time, this can result in a nice group of friends who spend time together. One event that has proven to be very popular is our maintenance days. Sharing information about our cars and fixing minor issues has been a great draw.

HI. Jay, I live in The Villages [ Dunedin], I tried to start a club but did not get the enough members to form a group. I own a 2007 Mean yellow.
This spot would be central and I know that in our area there is over 8 Solstice vehicles. Many areas in The Villages to meet that have parking and restaurants
