I recently purchased a 2008 SCCA T2 Champion Edition Solstice, but unfortunately it does not have the decals on the side of the hood. I’m looking at getting them made at a local sign shop, and he wants a picture from straight on (not at an angle at all) as well as the exact dimensions. Does anyone have one of these vehicles with the original decals that can help me out? Thanks!

The image shows the decal and the side vent with Pontiac badge. You can use calipers to measure the dimensions of the decal in units of the badge which is a known height.

Thanks! That is a good idea. I found these photos too which seem to show that the end of the SCCA part line up very close to the Pontiac emblem. That should help with positioning, but even these pictures show that the decal isn’t even in the same exact spot from car to car. The first picture looks like it’s farther away from the end of the hood on the right and bottom. The vehicle is very original, so I’d love to keep it as close to factory as I can. Do we know if the original decal had a black or dark gray GXP flag? Hard to tell in the pics I find online.

Try asking Backwoodsfab.com if they could replicate the T2 decal for you. They make a few Solstice products, including custom billet badges.
