Those are 3-bar sensors, and they indicate that your car has a tune. Probably the GMPP tune, but it could also have an aftermarket tune on top of that.

 

check for a 'premium only' sticker on your gas cap door. That is a signal of a GMPP tune.

 

Thx guys, I do have that sticker on the gas cap door so I guess it does have the GMPP tune. Still learning about this car.

Now what you need to figure out is if it's the first version GM tune or the version 2nd version GM tune. Version one had the GM tune crimped into the engine bay wiring harness. Bad crimps lead to the GXP losing boost and going into limp mode. The solution is to open up the crimps and soldering the wires together. There's threads on how to do this.

The second version included an engine wiring harness adapter making it plug and play. Unfortunately, you cannot install the engine harness adapter if the tune was crimped in.

Thx for pointing that out. I did read a few posts about this issue. I just checked and I have version 2 with the adapters installed on this car.
