From what I recall, people with larger turbos have experienced this code. BTF I know has experienced it, or I seem to recall a post about it.

Basically the ECU wanted a desired boost, and the turbo was unable to produce it at a given RPM.

damn dude.......UNDERBOOST is NEW to me. Never heard of it! Overboost, I'm guilty! But never really thought that I'll get an Underboost code :lol:

 

LOL I hear that...did u check for air leaks? Most common places are by the throttle body, turbo gasket, and where the midpipe and cat connect.

 

yep - a leak sounds like the most obvious and most easily remedied - just guessing

i assume you checked for something loose- tried tightening the above :lol: ... its too cold here for me to wanna do a thorough under hood check.... and i'd be embarrassed to let the yanks know what i consider cold ...:lol:

 

I would think so...u definitely won't boost as high with a leak.
